Ogun Supplementary Election: INEC Expresses Readiness, Warns Against Electoral Malpractices
The Independent National Electoral Commission in Ogun State is assuring all concerned stakeholders and citizens of its readiness to ensure a successful outing at Saturday's House of Representatives' supplementary election in the state.
The election will hold in thirteen polling units in Ijebu Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North-East Federal Constituency, following Court of Appeal judgement nullifying elections in the area.
The Commission says it will not compromise standard; warning against any form of electoral malpractice, especially vote-buying.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Abdulganiy Raji stated this in Ijebu-Ode while meeting stakeholders in the affected local government areas.
